Hand forged blades

A little about me, My name is Chad Runt I am a disabled Veteran of the Navy and got started on this journey as a backyard blacksmith around 13 years ago when I stumbled upon a guy by the name of Chandler Dickenson forging knives from railroad spikes so I went out and salvaged a break drum some hose and stole my wife’s hair dryer bought some harbor freight hammers and used my 65lb kettlebell as an anvil! I didn’t really get into making blades until 2023 and Today I have a shop and have upgraded everything and added a few new toys. I do this because I love the art of taking hot metal and manipulating it to form a functional work of art!

I make each blade using only premium grade steel and materials from all American suppliers, first by drawing it on paper then Every blade is individually forged and shaped by hand which makes each a true one of a kind and no two are ever exactly the same!
